Sahaja Yoga’s Yoga, Meditation and Music Event Bags World Record with 100+ Flutists’ Tribute to India Women’s Cricket Team

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], June 23: More than 500 students, yoga practitioners and seekers participated in a grand celebration of International Day of Yoga and World Music Day jointly organized by Sahaja Yoga Karnataka, The Life Eternal Trust, Bengaluru, and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (Sir MVIT). The event brought together yoga, meditation, music and national pride in a unique and inspiring manner.

The programme commenced with a mass yoga session led by Ms. Sheetal, followed by a Self-Realisation and meditation session guided by Ms. Preeti Soudur, Dr. Manoj Kumar and Mrs. Manjula Temle. Participants experienced the meditation technique founded by Her Holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi and learned about its benefits for physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

The event was inaugurated by Lokayukta Justice B.S. Patil, who highlighted the importance of yoga and meditation in modern life. Sharing his experience of practicing yoga for more than three decades, he emphasized yoga’s role in promoting holistic health, reducing stress and developing inner balance. Dr. Manoj Kumar, President of The Life Eternal Trust, explained the process of attaining Self-Realisation through Sahaja Yoga and its scientifically validated benefits.

A major attraction of the celebration was a magnificent flute orchestra featuring more than 100 artists from Gokulam School of Music performing the patriotic anthem “Chak De! India” as a tribute to the Indian Women’s Cricket Team. The synchronized presentation created a memorable atmosphere and was officially recognized by the World Book of Records, UK.

On the occasion, Vasantha Kavitha, Vice President – Karnataka, World Book of Records, along with Apoorva Menon and Dr. Madhur Temle, Charter Officers of World Book of Records, presented the official World Record Certificate to The Life Eternal Trust and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology for organizing the record-setting performance.

The achievement also received congratulatory messages from Santosh Shukla, CEO, World Book of Records, UK, and Kalraj Mishra, former Governor of Rajasthan. The event featured captivating musical performances by Ramya Vasishta, H.S. Venugopal, Pandit Iman Das and Dr. Jayant Kumar Das.

Among the distinguished guests present were H.R. Jayaram, Dr. Bhaskaran, Nikhil Gowda, Usha Iyer, B.H. Lokesh and several eminent personalities from education, culture and public life. Senior Sahajyogi Gurumurti, Harshal Dusane, Nagendra Babu, Moksh, Mrs. Santosh and Nitesh, along with the dedicated Sahaja Yoga team, were also present and contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the programme.
